We Believe In Giving Back

More than a one-day event, Boot’N & Shoot’N aims to make a lasting impact on the veteran community. Each year features a memorial tribute to fallen service members, with past honorees including Chris Kyle, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. In addition to funds raised for charity partners, two mortgage-free home grants have been given to deserving military families and hundreds of veterans have attended the event free of charge thanks to sponsor gifts.

Benchmark is proud to partner with The Brain Treatment Foundation. The Brain Treatment Foundation is the primary beneficiary for our annual Boot’n & Shoot’n event. The money we raise for the center goes towards scholarships to give a veteran two weeks of intensive treatment, care, and rehabilitation.

Brain Treatment Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support for brain health initiatives relating to treatment, rehabilitation, research and public education.

Brain Treatment Foundation is proud to support both past and present members of America’s Armed Forces.  There is a significant need for safe and effective treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress where poly-pharmacy and neglect have no place.

The goal of Brain Treatment Foundation is to partner with treatment providers and other organizations to restore hope and provide support for service members suffering from combat incurred Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Post-Traumatic Stress and their families. The founders firmly believe in collaboration, sharing data and uniting for a purpose larger than those served by each individual organization.  Through treatment, rehabilitation, research and public education, Brain Treatment Foundation seeks to become an active agent of change in the world of brain health.

We are honored to work with the military members of this nation and will constantly strive to maintain that privilege through ethical and honest practices, while keeping the best interest of those we serve as our compass.

Carrick Brain Center is a private facility where veterans receive treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury free from fear of social stigma or career path repercussions. Donations from the public and private sectors allow Carrick Brain Center to provide travel, lodging, counseling, meals and twelve months of neurological therapy and follow-up at no out of pocket cost to veterans.

The mission of the Carrick Brain Center Veteran Program is to connect combat veterans with innovative neurological rehabilitation that supports successful and productive reintegration into civilian society. In the veteran population, treatments allow for improvement in sleep, cognitive function, memory and balance, while decreasing anxiety/depression, hyper-vigilance, chronic headaches, anger issues and substance abuse. Veterans find relief of debilitating symptoms and return to a substantially better quality of life. The two-week Carrick Veteran Treatment program demonstrates that Carrick Brain Center’s Vestibular Rehabilitation Strategies in PTSD has a greater effect in decreasing symptoms than all other previous interventions to date. All treatments at Carrick Brain Center are non-pharmacological and noninvasive.
